Suddenly and unexpectedly, I became a blogger. Why? I was in New York. I was alone. I was bored. Did I believe I had something valuable to say? Something to contribute to the grand, grand, overwhelmingly grand traffic of voices shouting oh-so-softly over the cables and networks of the even-grander world wide web, in the territory of that web known as the "blogosphere?" Well, no, not really. But would that stop me from talking? Obviously not. And so, with no further adieu, I became a blogger...
